i guess we will seee...
i heard something really cool yesterday.
every Wednesday i go to church to attend my small group. this is where me and a few girls the same age going through similar things get together and talk about things and we give advice to each other based on Gods word. so yesterday we were talking about how you can reach out to your friends who dont know Christ. Well, my small group leader brought up a quote by Billy Graham that i thought was so cool. heres how she explained it:
during the time Bill Clinton was president and the sex scandal was running though the media Bill Clinton hosts an event and invites Billy Graham to the event.my imidiate though was why would BILLY GRAHAM go to an event that Bill Clinton is hosting in the middle of the sex scandal?! Billy Graham accepted the invite and attended the event. Well, of course there were reporters who though the same as i. one reporter went up and asked Billy Graham "why are you attending this event during whats going on?" Billy Graham replies. "Its the Holy Spirits job to convict, Gods job to judge, and mine to Love!"
I thought that was like the coolest response ever. it made me think that that is definitely the truth! It is Our job to love. we cant judge cause who are we to judge others? and only the Holy Spirit can come into someones heart and help them find the Lord and realize all he has done for us.
